Americans do not have one, dedicated, independent source to find out information of how they are being represented in Congress The currently available sources do not provide real data results that the average American can quantify in a meaningful way. Thus, Americans believe what they see on their chose form of news media Major News Media Outlets (MNMO) provide biased opinions due to the political affiliations of the Networks POLITIME is designed to not only get people talking about politics, but to also educate themselves by actively, virtually, participating in Congress. By participating, POLITIME provides a single place for users to know exactly how well they are being represented in Congress POLITIME is Un-Biased and completely party neutral POLITIME presents the bills that are voted on in an easy to read and understand manner. Bills are summarized by an independent 3rd party research company. (Additional sources will be added in the near term) POLITIME displays voting results by constituents and compares them to various characteristics of their representatives and of other users. Currently not available anywhere POLITIME provides more accurate polling results than the current system POLITIME allows for likeminded individuals to form groups for everything from discussions to forming a new political party When POLITIME grows large enough it will provide a “check and balance” service for the elections votes. User Votes – Users vote on bills that have been summarized by an independent 3rd party. POLITIME tabulates the votes. Representative Votes – Representative votes tabulated via an outside independent source. Representatives do not have the option to enter a vote on POLITIME. Representative – When a representative votes on a bill or other legislation in Congress, Politime will tabulate and compare that representative’s votes to the below categories. POLITIME will produce a 1-10 star rating based on how the POLITIME user community has voted. Representatives do not have to record their votes on POLITIME. POLITIME uses voting results provided by a third party organization. This will produce an easy to understand ranking displaying whether or not he representative is voting how Americans want him/her to vote. ELECTION POLLS – During elections, polls are taken in order to get an Idea of where candidates stand in the races. These polls currently reach a very small subset of voters, and the accuracy has proven less than desired – ISSUE POLLS – America discusses all different kinds of issues on a daily basis, but there is no one place for Americans to voice their opinions and be heard. Politime will present “Issue Polls” so that the people can participate in letting government know how they feel Group Pages – Users can start group pages to attract like-minded individuals. Group Pages can be any type of group that has a political issue to discuss. POLITIME users can reach millions of other POLITIME users via the internet and they can form a new political party. Media Pages– Media outlets have their own pages they are able to post political news. They are able to promote issues that they are making public. These posts will have comment and discussion sections so that the public users may express their opinions. Campaign Pages – Any candidate for any government position can start a campaign page where they can present their stances, post videos, and post commercials.
